So my problem is that it doesn't always work.
Seems like the problem lies with in what the game seems to think I want locked.
In hyper drive I am flying, I look at a ship and clearly get an orange square around him indicating that I am looking at him.
I click target but nothing. So I spam the button until I get him locked to see who it is and if they are of any interest.
The problem happens again when I try to lock back on to the station I was originally going to. It seems random in locking on as it may choose to lock onto a ship or something else but rarely the station. Choosing next target doesn't;t work either.
So the only way to lock back onto the station is to go into the menu and choose it.
Am I doing something wrong?
