Target reticle triangles and circles what are they?

Hello,

I can not find any info on the three triangles and two small circles that appear on target when using auto cannons. Like in the tutorial toxic canisters.

Sometimes the small circles lock on the target. Sometimes my fire does not hit even when close.

Well, gimball guns are not auto hit. There is some leading needed to hit the target, and if the target is manouvering, the cannons will miss. As for the triangles, they tell you, which way the target is moving. Filled triangle= direction of flight. Also, if you have your guns below your hull, you cant shot targets, that appear in the top part of the screen. Hope it helps...
