Newcomer / Intro Target type traders

So guys i accepted a mission where i would destroy 4 traders. When i get to the mission nav beacon, what do i do next? TY! :)

The Nav Beacons aren't there for purely missions. You can find traders everywhere... you can use an FSD Interdictor to take out some haulers/ lakons. Yo ucan also find them in USS's.

But you may see some at the nav beacons.
You will want to look for Haulers/ Lakons and certain sidewinders.
I find a lot of them travel in 3's. So if you see 3 ships flying together that are Clean, they are most likely traders.

I would also suggest picking up a cargo scanner. If someone is carrying a legal commodity, then they are most likely a trader.

What he said^

Don't think of the game as giving you missions that require you to go to a specific place in order to complete them. Think of missions instead as a series of 'requirements' that need to be fulfilled. How you go about fulfilling them is entirely up to your own imagination and very much down to your creativity and ingenuity.

If the mission is to kill 4 traders, then go and "kill 4 traders" ;)

Tip: traders will be flying a 'lakon' type ship (lakon 6, 7 or 9) or a hauler. You won't find a trader in a Viper, a Cobra or a Sidewinder e.t.c. A trader will also have a cargo full of some random commodity and will usually be a member of a faction that has a name that sounds quite 'trade centric'.

If you are going to take on a murderous mission such as this, you may want to do the following:
1. Kill them all
2. Become wanted for murder/bounty on your head
3. Jump to another system and dock at the nearest starport
4. Pay the fine
5. jump back and complete the mission.

If you complete the mission, then return to the starport immediately without paying off the fine, you will more than likely be set upon by the Feds. And that will probably end badly
