Targeted by Bounty Hunters?

Just wanted to double-check...

When a shp incurs bounties, you only get NPC BHers coming after you while you're flying the naughty ship, right?

I've got a ship in Colonia which has accumulated quite a "reputation" and I'm just about ready to wrap it up in Colonia.
If I leave the naughty ship parked-up in Colonia and head back to the bubble, it's not going to cause me any problems is it?

Also, what's the deal with getting KWS-scanned?
If I'm back in the bubble (flying a different ship) and somebody KWS-scans me, will it reveal the bounties from Colonia?
If I get exploded after being KWS-scanned, will I end up getting a rebuy in Colonia or anything else absurd?

I'd hate to have to schlepp all the way back to Colonia just to sort it out, after returning to the bubble.

Bounties are tied to your ship.

They changed it to be this way because the vast majority of horrible PvP gankers are really just namby pamby snowflakes who need a safe space (clean ship)

That's what I thought but I didn't want to head back to the bubble only to find there's some issue with the naughty ship I've left in Colonia which means I'd have to go back to sort it out.
