Yes. I believe you have to bind a key to "Target Next Subsystem" and/or "Target Previous Subsystem". Then when you press the button(s) when a ship is already targeted, it will cycle through them.

There's a submenu on the Left that let's you choose what to remove from existence.

Yup, sub- systems. easiest way to take out the big ships. And power plant is the best one to target as well.
