Newcomer / Intro Targetting in SRV turret

I can't change targets when in my SRV's turrent mode. I have to switch back to SRV cockpit virew to switch targets and then switch back to the turret.

There must be a way to change targets in turret mide but I just can't work it out!

Could some kind soul please tell me how to do it?

Hi Cmdr,

Normally you use the method that you use to target when flying the ship.

What do you use to target when in the ship?

Are you using a keyboard, mouse or joystick?

There is a separate "Target ahead" binding. That's what I'm using. I never tried to next and previous target, to be honest. I just point and shoot what is shooting at me.

I don't think they are supposed to.
If you look at the "Driving targeting" section in Controls options, there is only "Select target ahead" available.

Oh ok thanks!

So, just to make sure i have this right, I cannot switch targets unless I leave turret mode?

Though I can of course just aim n shoot.

Yes.
Point at the thing, press "select target ahead" to enable auto-aim, shoot.
SRV turret is apparently really simple individual. :)
