I'm cruising around the Taurus Dark Region and although it seems to have been fully explored (I've found a few unexplored planets/ systems, however), it just feels like the sort of place the Xenos would have a foothold, whether they have a gateway there, or an actual homeworld. What drew me to the place was the fact that the Taurus molecular clouds, a cold, dark dense region would be the perfect place to hide out of sight from the human bubble and also serve as a place where Xenos can thrive in a cold, dark, low-lit area...which is just how I imagine they'd prefer it(dark and cold). The other thing that makes me think this is their strong presence in the Pleiades, which neighbors the Taurus Dark Region, but, too I see a fair amount of NHSS in Taurus and that gets me wondering "why in these regions and nowhere else? Why not toward Sag-A? Why not toward Colonia? Or even the Formadine Rift? Clearly there's something these areas that all meet around the Pleiades, which includes part of Synuefe and Taurus regions. Hopefully someone with actual cannon knowledge will have more to contribute than just blind speculation, though. Perhaps this was all mentioned in a book.
