Taygeta-A new possible origin!

I have been looking for Threat 5 Thargoids to sample some skin from. electra I have had a fair few threat 5's and 6's...so I decided to go to one of the neighbouring systems Taygeta.

Ever since arriving there has been not a single threat 5...ALL are threat 6 with Basilisks.

This made me think, Taygeta has quite a few landfall planets. Given that the Basilisk are in greater density here does logic not suggest that perhaps this may be where they came from? they simply migrated next-door and gave us the bait.

I always wondered what was so special about Electra, nothing on any of the planets I have seen... I have yet to search Taygeta!

Priorities first, I will do my best to get us up to tier 1 CG, once we have acess to the new weapons I will then go and try to explore some more. I'd gladly welcome anyone who wants to join me! :)

I am in Taygeta since two days and found this system overcrowded with Th5th and Th6th especially when I approached T13 where I am sitting now. Also I became interdicted several times by a group called I.P.S.A.L. Project. Did some surface scans but due to my lack of skills I found nothing so far. Whish you luck down here, Cmdr !

I've been in Taygeta too looking for Thargoids to extract samples. Went there from Electra to buy a couple of heat sink modules and tried my luck there. I found almost as much NHSS 6 as i did in Electra.

The system is beautiful too. The blue light from the star reflecting the discs near the station is pretty impressive.

Just moved my temp "base" to Titan's Daughter....I'll have to take a look around for 5s. A lot of 6s for sure.
