By the way, Ollie43 can't build! he were asked to present the game, because he gots over 1.000.000 potential buyers. If they would ask me to build, i wouldn't blame them.

Nice teacups :)

Nice teacups :)

I did not think Ollie43 did a very good job building. Things were too clumped together and the elevated paths he used did not even look graceful. You don't make elevated curving paths going up only to have an immediate straight ramp going down. This puts a sharp ridge in the path, plus he had all kinds of kinks in these paths, paths should be smooth. If his regular videos and streams are like that, I don't know how he managed to get 1,000,000 subscribers.

He tried to build a elevated path without curve! I just thought " omg right at the corner just put curved elevated path off" but no even ED didn't say anything! There you can see who are real good players

But did you see the G** awful kinks he had in his elevated paths? The Queue for the coaster went up and then immediately down leaving a pointed ridge in the middle which reminded me of an "A" Frame ladder

that the peeps would have to climb up one side and down the other.

why is bothering you all so much? It clearly was made in a rush to get it in, he even stated he spends hours doing it right and moving benches by 30cm to get them right.

Try not to look at it like why did he not do that or build this but more, oh that is a feature and look you can do these mad things and that could look pretty. It is also giving a much broader base of subscribers to viewing this. I would suggest a heck of a lot of people can build better than shown in this stream but that is just how it is when you are live and have a time limit etc.

Ollie is well aware of this, lets not just slate people because of it.

Regards,

Adam

If the casual passerby at the convention saw this, can you imagine what negative ideas they would have about the game? Just not a very good move from a marketing stand point. They should have given these people a little time before they were placed in the stream to at least get more of a feel for the new things and set up a plan of what they were going to do, then they would have done better.

Remember Doc hasn't played it for a while so it was all new to him, and yes I guess he was still a little tipsy from the night before, however I sat and watch his section (nearly turned it off after 15 mins) and basically appreciated how easy he seemed to get back into it at the end.

Like him, I've not actually played since alpha 2 launch - I'm more interested in the sim side of things.

Ollie43 did a really good job today on his part of the park. He had a slow start trying to get his path alignment to work, but after that his park really took off, and the final layout looked really good. Make sure to check his part of the stream out.

Then De-Lady-signer came on and made a castle in Ollie43's park. There are some path level views later in the stream looking through Ollie43s park with the castle in the background, and there are some epic sight lines.[up][yesnod]

I think everyone is doing a good job on a live stream. they are not in a quiet room like the older dev streams. Not sure if they have had access to alpha 3 prior to this weekend but they are looking for items in all new tabs.
