I really like CQC. I do not play often but its not because I have an issue with it, however I did have some issues at the weekend, and just curious if it is the norm.
1) in a few of my games it was clear there were some friends playing together as they were flying together and blitz attacking. This is good co-op play for TEAM deathmatch but is pretty unfair imo for the people on their own. There is a reason it is called Free For All... Or do you guys thing this is fair game? I myself have played FFA with a mate a few times... but it has always been with the intention to blow him up
anything else seems not cricket imo
2) I think some worry about KD ratios too much. I am farily low rank, maybe level 25 or so, and was waiting for ages with 3 or 4 in the group, and the amount of time 2 or 3 low level players would drop in, and I would thinking "excellent" time to go!... and then they would drop out again........ presumably because there were one or 2 really high level players with golden emblems in there
The thing is, does it really matter what your KD is? surely it is better to play, even if you lose, than just to wait in a lobby? I admit for the 1st 6 months of CQC I felt like i was good at hte game, it is nice having a good K/D however those times are long gone and i am lucky to hold my own these days, but so what? with nothing to lose and everything to gain, but only by playing, the worst thing about CQC imo is stitting waiting for players.
