Ahoy.
Been a happy player of ED in VR since around 2015 I think, from DK2 through CV1. CV1 working better than ever at the moment and completely smooth on Ultra. Touch wood no random crashes or audio issues for the first time ever.
I bought a Quest this week and using both the link cable and wirelessly on virtual desktop I get dreadful tearing. Its not like the old school judder / tearing when things were badly optimised, its like the two images are slightly out of sync when you move your head. ED is the only game I have the issue with (because of course it is, being the one I want to try to see if I can switch to Quest wholesale!)
Any one come across the issue? Everything I can find is about other issues from earlier in the Quest Link beta - most people seem to be fine both wired and wireless. I've tried unplugging my CV1 completely (which actually I had to anyway to stop Elite starting in that)
