I am slightly surprised that 10 days after the release of this intel none of the Overlord's followers has posted this here.
The only explanation I have is that Dr. Minsky talked Zarek Null out of it because he did not want to publish the fact that the "vampiric" tendencies of SAI-4 are merely the result of a design flaw. We all know how twitchy those academics are about their scientific reputation.

The real question that Dr. Minsky needs to answer is, can space vampirism be transmitted to a ship's computer by railgun and some sort of space burial, much like real-world vampirism could be transmitted via bite in the 21st century?
Does "CMDR" show as a subtarget in SAI-4's left panel, allowing him to module snipe the human pilot but leave the ship's systems and computer intact?
That could leave dozens, even hundreds of AI vampiric space drones plaguing systems like kini.
