So I'm unsure whether it's the game or my own computer, and I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue or might have some pointers in how I can troubleshoot or fix it.
Windows 7
Basically every 5-10 minutes of gameplay, at random, the screen will go black and I'll be returned to my desktop briefly with the game still running, and then back to the game, but when I'm back in the game my pointer is now a normal mouse pointer, and clicking at all acts as if I'm clicking on my desktop, so it re-exits the game with it still running in the background, and if I click anywhere else on the desktop, it just goes back into the game doing the same disconnected-mouse-pointer again.
The only way I have of getting back into the game for the time being without issue is clicking on the running Elite Dangerous program icon on the bottom toolbar itself.
But it's just a matter of time before this happens again, and I've died at least twice from crashing since it's not exactly a safe thing to just 'let go of the controls' while frame shifting into the sun.
I'm not sure if it's some sort of background service that could be causing it, or some driver issue, or a problem with the game or the graphics card.
Super frustrating, anyone else run into this?
