Here it is. Teh Awesome Command Chair.

I got sick of having to hold my joystick in my lap, and the cats competing with said joystick for lap real-estate.

Also thought I'd prefer to give my left hand a throttle, which is being taken care of by my old Logitech 3d Extreme Pro, until I can source a CH throttle.

There it is. about 20 minutes to build.

Please note all the essentials are nearby - liquor, 5.1 surround system, old school O-M1 film camera, PC with cover removed because the GFX card is too tall, SSD encased in plastic packaging as I have not received my case for it yet...

Drats - I forgot put the iPa dint he picture - which is both used for Powergrid, and as a controller for the AV system...

Ah yes, Trackir! I have a PS3 camera - going to have a go at making one myself, maybe this weekend. I'll probably put a bit more effort in than I did with the chair. Having said that, I am amazed at how well it works, I may actually go to the effort of "upgrading" it later with better looking stuff...

Hmm...I'd be tempted to nail another shelf to that chair for a glass of water and a bottle of Aspirin. I suspect the mother of all migraines is in the post...

EXACTLY!!!

Well, I'm running Elite on my HTPC - and this is my bedroom surround setup. So the screen size is good for movies - th eproblem is the different seating positions mean the speakers all need to be re-balanced every time I swap between games and movies.
