there is an old 3.x (?) bug that first appeared when a fighter got lost. suddenly the game dropped to 30 fps and the chat box got crazy. there is a temporary workaround for this: open the chat box, it will be flickering like hell. close the chat box and the fps are back to normal and the chat box is working again with the next opening!
 
The front of my anaconda flickers in VR, station back walls and far away surfaces flash along with astroids. Driving me nutz. I thought this was fixed in the patch notes.
 
All of them combined. My impression is that update 14 added more bugs than previous updates effecting every style of game play. Then equipment changes as in a Cutter docking computer had issues leaving a station but OK when entering. Now in Open mode when entering it will often hit the station if I don't take over at the last minute entering the mailslot.

Not able to complete missions is the worst of them all. That is the core of the game and it won't be addressed until Janruary? Someone should have stayed in the office to address this one issue at least.

Oh well, enjoy the challenges until they are addressed later.

Oh oh pick me... easy!.... deploying your SRV and having it being stowed back on the ship when the game crashes or becomes unresponsive requiring a relog. This takes using the SRV out of the exobiology mini game loop. ha ha, it happened as I was entering this reponse!

Because it's Christmas I am going to go easy.
  1. This has been occurring for a long time but not really a game changer: You go to choose a mission and the material reward just has a '+' next to it - no detail;
  2. Turning up to take out 18 personnel but there are only 17 there (or one mysteriously disappears during the mission);
  3. Asked to find X at crash site but it's not there;
  4. Game crash at restore mission and you lose the power regulator;
  5. Game crash at any restore mission where you have to return to orbit to go back in to reset the 'cleansed/removed' items to reset the mission when it was an honest CTD.
Not sure if any of you are getting this but when I start EDO these days at a station I see a pair of feet close up at 90 degrees, looks like my own feet!

Also not a bug at all but: I cannot stand the planet surfaces in EDO; oh, give me EDH any day. Some (actually, many) fun times had speeding around, navigating loads of cool features. Now? Sheesh...
 
Not playable Thargoids WZs, I think since Ody begin.

Each "new stage" (i.e. when killed some enough of mobs and more coming, like 1st incoming interceptors after initial scouts) triggers "join wz" message in chat, for EACH new mob incoming, for example wave of 7 scouts will trigger 7 chat boxes. Each should be clicked "confirm/join". But well, thing is, any next except 1st drop fps from 60 to 0 for like 20-30 seconds. When I have 7 pops game is not responsive for 2-3 minutes. In such long cases it just shows crash handler, but keeps running and disconnects with mauve adder. Lesser delays like 40 - 60 seconds would recover (it's so fun - 40 seconds just the same picture on screen).

And some voices mess during that as well, ship, AX NPCs are just silent. I think some synchronization issue happens because of 40s delays.

In solo I may kill 1-2 interceptors just waiting through 40s delays before crash on 3 mins delay on 3rd wave. If other people present - they trigger waves so fast so I see non-stop chat boxes and constant 0 fps.
