Tells of your most annoying Odyssey bugs.

Lately I've been giving the on-foot stuff a shot since I'm bored of thargoids and the plot's railed, so I decided to try upgrading a suit, or at least start to. First I need a power regulator or two to go get data from settlements. Get a massacre mission with 2 power regulators as a rewards. Kill all the bad guys except one. Where is he? Stuck under the floor. He can shoot me but I can't shoot him. Get back to my ship and leave the planet to reset the instance. Go back down, check the spot where the npc was stuck. All seems well, kill all the bad guys, but there's one left. Different npc stuck under a different building. How often does this happen?
I've never seen it, but I did get stuck under a building myself when the stairs to the first floor "glitched"!

I discovered yesterday that the HUD no longer disappears after a canopy breach (here canopy at 0%) :

It used to be that the HUD was not present where there was no glass.. it used to add some fun to the 'OMG can I navigate back to a station in time' event.

This is as bad as the mission board throughs you back to the main menu - no missions at all. Reboots do not work either, so you are left with no recourse but to quit for the day if you need to run missions to gain influence for your faction

Thanks to your post, I now have a "most annoying Odyssey bug", and I don't even own Odyssey. Do you want to know what it is?

UBIQUITOUS WHITE EYEBROWS!!!!

This week I've been trying to upgrade my Mav suit, getting some nostalgia from the Oblivion tier game play and I think I've decided on the most annoying bug in my opinion and it's a tie between the mission item not spawning and the mission objective not updating. Turn the power on. I did. Turn the power on. I don't have the regulator anymore, it was in the housing and the power was on when I left. Go back and turn the power on. Use your own regulator, I don't care. Luckily the few times it happened I had regulators I borrowed from other places. The mission item not spawning is annoying in a different way. It will say go to locker 2 or some such, then when I find locker 2 it's not there. I have to leave the planet, then return and now the item is in locker 6. Also, why is it illegal to shoot at the ship that just dropped off 6 people who are shooting at me? Sure I didn't scan it but they're shooting at me. Anyway I'm off to Colonia to get a suit mod because that will be quicker than unlocking the other 2 engineers that can do it.

Most annoying Ody bugs?
  • lateral and vertical thruster issues (since basically EDO launch)
  • pwa bugs (since U12)
  • materials collision bugs (materials disappearing in case of interaction with srv wheels and materials shooting out over the horizon at high speed when fired upon - valid for guardian materials behind the panels or materials in barnacles or else) - not sure if this was from the EDO launch or appeared in U5 or sometime around.
  • flickering shadows in certain circumstances

That's bizarre... I also fly a Krait II but shieldless for cargo theft missions, but it still disappears for me where the glass is broken (the parts where the glass is fine still show the HUD even). Maybe something in the settings is causing that? Still shouldn't tho.

But for me, the most annoying one is panels that you cut and they decide to get stuck like this

Gets cut, but still gets stuck like that. And can't grab with hands to take it off, since these hands only hold guns, ship controls, and tools.
This usually happens on high gravity sites (0.70 here).
Worst part is that this is consistent. I'mma try the L6

EDIT: ... I SWEAR FDev is watching this... just as I tried again, the panel actually popped right off. AS SOON AS I POSTED. But then the "mission item doesn't spawn on POI" got me. And no, there wasn't any other item on the ground, ship radar didn't catch anything (and you can see how close it is).

I found I could often displace it by punching it (melee attack - default V). ¯\(ツ)

I think it's weird. I had been playing in the bubble and every panel I cut off would pop right off towards me and push me out of the way because their collision is absolute for some reason. Then I went to Colonia and did a bunch of missions around there because I just needed just a few things for the engineer there and every single panel I popped off would get hung up by one corner, pivot on that corner and drop straight down without colliding with me at all. It's like the panels in Colonia were polite or something.
