For now the temporary objectives can be summarized as such:
- Do not expand HIP 31666 at any cost: we do not want this expansion to succeed. With overheads taken into account (62.1), HIP 31666 will bring us a whopping -77.1
We chose this prep target so it would be easy to oppose, because with the cc last cycle there was no good systems available. It was more a case of pick your poison.
- Focus on fortifying our good systems first, preferably those not in turmoil: Aurawala (Outpost only), Cailli (Outpost/Planetary base), HIP 114709, Yan Musu.
Any commander with a small to medium ship should focus on Aurawala first, since large ships won't be able to fortify it. Once those are done, you can focus on Cartoi, Grovichun, Duryampas and Pardis and by that time I assume the weekly objectives will be posted.
- NEVER fortify the following systems (non-exhaustive list):
CD-68 29, Clido Pi, Daibo, Grebegus, HIP 10786, HIP 116710, Karakasis, Kuki An, Okua'gsa, Panganau, Shapsugabus, Karsuki Ti, Lambda-1 Tucanae.
Those systems are the bane of Aisling and are responsible for the vast majority of our deficit. We do not want them, and we can't lose them if they end up fortified. This doesn't mean any other system is fair game to fortify, simply that those never are.
