I just stumbled upon this review below. WARNING: SPOILERS!

The review is full of spoilers, but very entertaining... unlike the movie, which I won't watch... in other words, you won't lose anything by having it spoiled. :)

not seen it and dont want to see spoilers but the review i read of it (a spoiler free one) said it was the best T film since T2 and gave it a solid 7/10 iirc.

I will watch it one day for sure... mind you i enjoyed Salvation, so there is that ;)

I lost interest in paying for this franchise years ago. If it appears on TV i will give it a whirl but i wont pay to see it.
Hollywood is a vacuous mess now. This franchise is the very definition of flogging a dead horse.

Yeah as with the upcoming Rise of nothing and noone anyone cares about, this might get a viewing once it hits the torrant sites as a Dvd rip.

I have no idea about the TV series, but inded T1-T2 are the only ones for me too. T3 was a big disaapointment, I wish I hadn't seen it... and indeed I haven't seen any of the newer sequels.

Whilst I suspect your mind may be in the gutter (not saying i disagree with you) there were other people in it very well cast imo.
G Dillahunt was great and I liked Dean Winters too. (not in the same way as your 2 favourites however :D )

I forget who those actors are in relation to the show. I actually found the "sub plot" to be very interesting, and I was disappointed they didn't do more with that. The end season was obviously rushed, and I suspect the writers had originally planned on having more time to flush out the story of that other 'newborn' AI (and the mysterious red head liquid metal mama).

Dillahunt was the "bad" terminator for the most part
Dean Winters was Sarah Connors ex boyfriend

And in the age where games are starting to be sold in several dozen chunks of 10$ DLC ending up costing over 100/150$ to have the "full" game, I predict torrents will soon be stronger than they ever were.

Being fair, this franchise had already died 3 movies ago...

Maybe it's time for hollywood to start doing some new stuff again? New stories, new characters... It seems every movie being made in the last decade is either a remake, sequel, reboot, re-gender or spinoff... At this time, might as well have a computer program writing movie scripts, they all seem to come from the same handful of formulas.
