Terrain Distribution wont work

Hey,
So my terrain distribution only shows 0% when using terrain paint. It doesnt change when using different terrains (soil, rock ect.)
Help what can i do?

I think it's because it's all covered in snow. Melt the snow with a heater and the terrain below will emerge.
