Terrain Options

Literally my biggest wish for the game is being able to choose between the different biome terrain paint.
For example, I would love to be able to use the red dirt from the Australian biome in my Australian habitats even though my zoo is in North America.
Having the option to choose from the already existing terrain colours would be a life saver for these situations. I know some people are extremely against being able to change the grass colour in your biome, but even something like being able to choose the dirt and sand and rock colours would make such a difference!
Hopefully with the new water visual options coming this means that something could be done for terrain too? Fingers crossed!

I don’t think anyone is ‘totally against’ being able to use more terrain patterns - the issue is that Frontier have said that more terrain textures would seriously affect performance. On that basis we might one day get the choice of which texture to use for each of the 8 options but we won’t be getting the ability to use more terrain textures on a single map.

It's not that some people extremely oppose to that. The thing is that Frontier already confirmed that this is not possible due to the game engine and they are not going to change it. There are very few things that they have confirmed that they can't do it, but this is one of them.
