Terrain painting option to stay inside habitat

Could we please get an option to allow us to only paint up to the habitat barrier and not over it. It's so hard to fill them in perfect without any over spill.

If you could make it paint under the habitat barrier but not outside it, it could be used as a multi-tool to create patches of whatever terrain paint we like in places we want and in any shape and just delete the barrier afterwards.

I would kill for this. It's especially frustrating when painting snow. It feels out of place to have snow spilling out all around the habitat.

I'm unsure if you're aware of this, as I wasnt until the last day of Beta, but in the settings under gameplay there's an option, not 100% what it's called but it allows you to use the terrain features whilst ignoring barriers. It's not exactly what you're looking for but it allows you to get right up and next to the barriers (or through them) without deleting the barrier first.

It would also be nice to have a square terrain paint option rather than always a circle paint. That way I could more precisely fill the terrain in a planter box, for example.

Nope, I missed that! But I was only able to spend a few days with the beta. This sounds helpful, though!

Really, I want to be able to create "pits" and "moats," etc. to create more realistic exhibits, rather than what people have been currently working with. I'm sure it's feasible, likely with some tools not included in the beta but a way to easily create a lower fence and drop the terrain so the animal is enclosed that way would be great.
