Terrain Tool

I know the Terrain Tool will be included in Alpha phase 2, but i have a question about it.

I know we can create shapes and mountains and stuff. Can we also "paint" a certain groundtype like we could in RCT3?

I would really love to be able to have those as well :

- Sand (for creating a beach theme)
- Snow (Abvious for creating a snow/ice/alpine/etc theme)
- "Moon" (suits well with the space theme)
- "Rocks" (suits well with the western theme)

Is anything confirmed about this?

I believe in the last Q&A Livestream they had, they showed a bit of a sneekpeek at painting different land or ground. They were playing around with some plateaus, painting grass on top and adding a bit of rock and sand textures to the sides.

Cool!!

So Rock, Sand and Grass is confirmed for now :)
And since "Alpine" seems to be a "landscape theme" it gets my hope up for snow as well.

Well, ike you said it looks weird, its hard to see if it's a real life picture or an ingame picture or a combination of both?
Either way it gets me exited to play!!

Wow, thanks for the links to the images, not seen them before - the water in that last image you mention looks nice - hope it will look as good in the game when they finally add it in - if it does, then I understand why it's not in now. Hopefully they have a flowing system with the water too - something like in cities skylines.

Would love a Winter Wonderland theme park, would be great if they included weather ingame such as snow and rain.

With you mentioning winter, and snow, I'm looking forward to seeing rain too, and seeing if we get nice reflective floors.
Would be cool if it rains and peeps run for cover (If they haven't already bought an umbrella)
