Terrible Design Choice - "Discovered" Notifications

Hi forum,

So I've been playing ED for a long time now but I had a few months off as I was moving houses and couldn't set up my VR. I've returned with enthusiasm finally only to find that my relaxing cruise through space has been utterly ruined by these horrendous Discovered- notifications in the centre of the screen and the accompanying grating sound effect.

None of this was needed or wanted, please for the love of god tell me I can turn them off, as I can't listen to that noise any more, I can't play this

It's in the way and provides zero value.

It spams the info panel anyway, no need for double information wasting screen space.

Option to turn it off would be very nice!

And the zoom failure in the FSS. I know it failed, because it didn't zoom. Duh. Lol

Yep, +1 from me too.

Completely unnecessary considering it's duplicated in the top-right panel.

Ditto while inside the FSS, the HUGE text popups blocking all the other UI elements (and unnecessarily slowing the UI down). Another pet-peeve of mine is the "zoom failed" message which then overlays the top-right panel for a while, despite ALSO being part of the top-right panel text which is obscured by the popup.

Ditto for the "not in this mode" error message.

Please FDev, give us an option to disable all of the notification popups which were obviously made for the console market where I can partially understand their usefulness. But they really interfere with the experience on PC.

+1 use the info panel for this!

Same with Fuel Scoop Active- right in the middle of the screen in OP! Put it on the info panel or next to the fuel guage and move the landing gear and other indicators to the info panel with the new lights-on indicator

Same for Cargo Acquired notice blocking the cargo scoop panel. When I'm trying to scoop fast it's just in the way of the reticle. Info panel is fine for that as well.
