You need the PS4 to stream it to the Vita. You can do it with a laptop too, Basically anything that can connect using PS4 Remote Play.

Nice, I've had Elite on pc streaming to my Nvidia K1 shield tablet and it seemed to work quite well - haven't really played much that way, was just trying it out to see if it worked.

Not if you're playing on a 4K big screen, never heard of the 1090 though.

@Nutter does the PS4 have to be on and running elite and you just use the PS Vita to remote log into the PS4 or does the vita let you do elite on the vita even is your PS4 is switched off?

Yeah the PS4 Fires up from standby and it streams, plays good as long as the Wifi is good - Can stack missions and do transport stuff fine. Pew pew is harder due to lack of R2 and L2 Buttons.
