Tflight Hotas One PC

Just bought one of these was wondering if there are any guides for setup, key bindings etc. Seem to be struggling to set it up right I have yaw on twist of the joystick and try to have thrust forward and backwards on the rocker switch but it uses same axis as yaw so won't allow it but seen on YouTube vids people have managed to get this to work correctly. Thanks

I have a HOTAS X and on that there is an illuminated button (red or green) to switch between shared axis & 5 separate ones.

What riverside has not mentioned is you want it to be green.
That splits the rocker and twist controls so you can program them separately.

My set up is roughly:-

Joy stick pitch roll & yaw.

Primary fire at the trigger, secondary on the back.
I use the awkward side one you have to use your trigger finger for as a select button.
Have 'hat' set to control power (this is default anyway)
Chaff on another back button.
On the throttle, I use the rocker switch for left-right thrust and the two round the front for up-down thrust.
The lowest button on the back I use as a universal 'shift' key, so most buttons can do two things.
You can pretty much have any of the other buttons do whatever you want.
You should probably have things like ecm, heatsinks and shield banks on easy to reach buttons.
Also be able to quickly stow weapons, landing gear and cargo scoop for when you need to make a quick exit.
Some people like to have a flight assist on/off button. If this is useful to you then great, otherwise I'd drop that one and leave it mapped to the keyboard. Use it for something else.

I'd suggest paying attention to the generic setup you get within ED for the T-Flight. Only change buttons you don't want/like.
I've always had just the one button for SC/H-jump, but I have the SC option mapped to a shifted key.

The advantage of changing as little as possible means you could use someone else's set up without to much difficulty. Quite handy if you visit ED conventions.

Well that was more than I intended.

Thanks guys for the info I will look into it but as stated above I don't see a illuminated button on the hotas one???

The 'power' light is a button!

Unless design has changed.
In diagram provided by Henry1491, it has a little house symbol. It sits between the left and right buttons on the base of the throttle section.

That's the one to push. It toggles the two modes.

You can ignore the other button on the base of the joystick part , that is for programmable settings you probably don't need.

Sorted it thanks has to be done in the control panel on PC thanks guys will look at setting up key bindings now. What about deadzones should they be left how they are or has anyone done a good configuration

One tip, if not already known, making one of the buttons a 'shift' function doubles the number of uses available for the others, and the 'shift' button itself can retain it's own function.

Default deadzones seem just fine. The T-Flight is well made and centres up really well.
You can loosen the joystick stiffness with the big underneath. ( ooh ... err .... misses ;) )

And when you're really ready for a challenge, try using two shift buttons. :)

But seriously, use a shift modifier button. I forget which specific button I used, but it made having to use the keyboard obsolete for the most part.

I have done this 4 shift modifiers gone with how it is set up on the Xbox printed the sheet on stuck it to my tower for reference :) will see how it plays and if I need to change anything. Thanks peeps

Doesn't seem to work with how they have it set up for Xbox. For example B is boost, B+hatshift down is landing gear you boost when putting landing gear away???
