Thank goodness

I’ve been off the game, in fact VR in general, since spring as I am an old school human who goes outside :) . Well Autumn is here and thought I’d fire up elite. Last game I swore I was parked up by a sun near sagA but no there I was at Explorers Anchorage.

Well like many before me I had forgotten what all the Hotas buttons do and In fact the entire rig lol. So promptly full throttled into my landing pad as attempted to leave the station.

Well an hour or three later I had started documenting the space around EA, Almost every star system I visited around EA was new undiscovered. Anyhow finally worked out what most buttons do landed back at AE and sold data to see impact on new currency. Then went to the forums. OMG they are on fire with spite and vitriol against the sept update. All I can say is thank goodness I was exploring as this seems largely unaffected by the bugs.

As a side note I thought I would start mining around EA. Did not bother checking their store for stuff - last I checked they just sold pens and paper - just arranged to get it all shipped from the Bubble, only to then see they had pretty much everything I needed in stock - DOH!!

Happy trail cmds good to be back in the game.

Welcome back. You're going to find a few changes and quite a lot of bugs. maybe starting just after an update was not the best plan. Still the patches have started so hopefully you will not have too many problems.

Like you 'I am an old school human who goes outside '. In fact my weekends are dedicated to spending time with the animals (horses, dogs chickens, family ;)) but I do try and keep Wednesday evenings free for a regular meetup with the crew in ED :D
