I took a little break before Beta 3 was released. Not that I wanted to, but life had become way too busy. Since a few days I got a bit more free time and checked back to this game. I read the newsletters and had my jaw dropping. I logged into the game and... WOW!
I mean: WOW!
I played quite some games now, but no developper EVER managed to add so much good stuff from one version to the next. And not only gameplay-wise, the graphics -which were really really sweet in Beta 2 already- are just AWESOME now (at least I do not care for any US eyecandy anymore... you know
)! New ships! Mining! Ship equipment! Multi-Ship options!
To keep this short, I just want to shout out a big THANK YOU to everyone involved in the development process of this game! You guys did, do and -I'm sure- will keep doing a great job, I really think you earned every single positive feedback on what you accomplished already!
I was not into space games before I ran into Elite Dangerous, but I sure am since I pressed "play" on the E: D launcher the first time. And this baby is getting better and better!
Thank you for all your invested time and efforts to keep the old school fans happy, and net yourself some new fans, just like I am.
