So, I decided to head down to Khun tonight to upgrade Ol' Snake Eyes....my trusty Cobra MkIII. In under 30 minutes I had nearly maxed out my Thrusters, my FSD & my Shields......now she is a total *beast*!!! Thank you Elvira. Some nice Secondary Effects too :).

I didn't think anybody went to Elvira except to get access to the other engineers. I think she's still only level 3 for me and I have everybody unlocked except Jameson. She's too far away and no beehive hair do so I'm out.

Elvira is close if you make your home base in LYR controlled space in the western bubble. :D

Normally I also consider her just a stepping stone.
But after recently wiping my savegame, I use her for pinning Increased Range FSD so I can pin the grade 3 thrusters at Felicity Farseer.

I don't exactly feel the need to unlock Palin for quite some time.

Grade 3 is still a very nice upgrade is it not?

The drive upgrades are the same as Felicity's - so the only variables would be how close to either you're located and whether you have a habit of dealing with known shadow council agents regardless of other options being available. Remember Zurara and all that...

Since 3.0 fixed engineers, I have started getting some upgrades and Elvira is the only one I have tried so far. Khun was not so far for me and Elvira upgrades the modules I was interested in.
