Thank you FD for a great night relaxed gaming with V1.2

Watched the beta forums, took a few days off from ED and then downloaded tonight with V1.2. Sorted out my VoiceAttack with custom Ripley Voices and my own packs. Got some tunes controlled by VoiceAttack and set off for a bit of trading in my T9 to bump up my funds a little.

Added a shield booster and messed with the interface, some really nice changes in the outfitting :)

Had a play with the external Camera in Oculus and loved it :)

Got interdicted by a wing of 3 NPC Adders :) That was great fun

Some really nice little touches on the interface such as when you enter the hanger, it automatically selects starport services for you :), nice touches and well listened to the community.

So thank you ED for a real nice relaxed evening chilling, trading and flying the galaxy with a glass of red and some tunes after a really bad day sorting out my blocked sewage pipes outside.

+1 The new features in 1.2 add some really nice features that enhance the experience, IMHO. I especially like the more varied and challenging NPCs - and they even come in wings! :)

Yes, like many I feared NPC wings, but they are quite well done and tame. Love seeing 3 or 4 SC ships zipping past in formation.

If 1.2 is a sign of what to expect in the coming months then the future of ED looks better all the time.
ED has changed a lot in just two free updates, what will it look like in 6 months? Keep it up FD

I am a Lone Wolf, will probably never join a wing, however, I enjoyed last night, there have been a lot of changes. I love the debug camera, the number of jumps indicator and it may just be me but the background stars seem shinier. Also repairs to my Clipper were reduced. Well done FD.

Excellent post OP..I couldn't agree more--- R+ for you.... I've been playing all day with it and all the changes I've seen so far are great..a lotta small details are in 1.2 that together, really add up. I also got messing around with the sound settings and tried the nighttime sound scheme and now the sounds are even better than they were for me before...if you're sound is via headphones or with low volume speakers, you ought to check it out

Loved your post O.P., I couldn't yet try the game Yesterday for family business going on... But tonight, when my son will go to bed... I will totally sit there with my glass of Bargnolino (it's a peculiar fruity distilled alcoolic beverage that we do here in my city) and some great music background like you have done. Cheers :)
