Thank you for the new trading screen and supercruise assist !!

To the game designers and programmers...

Just returned from a pause of a few months.
Boy how I like the new trading screen - I like to run delivery missions before I had to cylce back to the mission tabs to find who wanted what now I can not only see it in the trading screen but also filter for the items I need only!! wow that is quality of life improvement - well done to all those involved in making this.

Also the supercruise assist - I got rid of the docking computer as I realised after some time I can dock faster but i overshoot so often because I'm reading on the second screen this is a real help.

Thank you again!

You can continue to read on the second screen if you continue with docking computer. It saves minimal time. Launching is the pain because if the queue waiting system with auto launch

The trade window improvements are absolutely great. Makes finding single hop profits a breeze. There is one one issue I found out: When you compare with a market, there is no indication if the commodity is illegal in that market and if there is a black market present where you can sell those commodities if they are indeed illegal. Maybe they plan on improving/expanding on smuggling and black markets at some point in the future and that's why they left that out.

The supercruise assist is helping me with a joystick that has developed drift ... I no longer have to keep course correcting on a long journey and can do other things while it gets me there.

However, on two occasions it has caused me to collide with a planet. I suspect it is where the grazing angle between two planets is small, and you drop out abruptly at the untargeted planet.

My favorite, and I mean abso-freakin-lutely favorite thing about the new trading screens? When running source missions, without using eddb or inara, you look in the commodities area and there is the little globe next to what you need to buy. AND it even says how much of it you need. Very handy.

Funny thing about supercruise assist.... I was cruising towards a port with my anaconda and decided to test it out. Got about 300ls away, with 0:02 on the clock ... and my speed was up there... I hit the assist just to see... well, it stopped me BANG! and I flew through the station and clipped out the other side at 2.25km away at a dead stop. I honestly thought I was going to have to rebuy. I wish I had recorded it... along with my scream!

Really I'll have to check out that I still use Inara, it seems a shame though so much work seems to have gone into Inara.

I really like the new trading screen... with one exception - having to switch from buy to sale kinda kills it for me

I found a downside to the new trading screen last night. I was about set off on the Hutton Truckers convoy with a hold full of Crystalline Spheres. When I signed up I said I would take a Fuel Transfer limpet controller too and realised I had no space for limpets! Went to sell some of the spheres, but instead of selling the number I wanted I forgot about the one-click 'sell all' button and ended up sell all except the few I intended! Being rare goods that had been loaded for me, I was unable to buy them back and could only rebuy the normal allocation. Not that it mattered in the end as my ship was destroyed early in the convoy so would have lost them anyway. Still it meant I had plenty of room for limpets now and filled my hold with them - until the next interdiction! 😭 Never mind got there in the end and it was all ForTheMug! :ROFLMAO:
