Thank you for the relentless positivity!

Straight to the point, I don’t want this to be a gripe about the state of the forums in general: Thank you all for your enduring positivity, interested and interesting threads and posts, and your creative and constructive suggestions for modifications and additions to the game! This forum is a fantastic companion out there in the black, thousands of LY from home :)

Longtime lurker, first time poster. And I agree; the exploration sub-forum especially is very positive, helpful group. Reading these posts is what first got me interested in exploring, and I'm just returning back from my first "long" trip. (I'm new to this, so "long" for me was only 20klys...)

Well then, may I officially welcome you to the forum :)! And 20k LY is not half bad for a first trip - be sure to share any pics :)

I think your first "little" trip covers as many lys as my first three "long" trips :)
But you're right, the forum in general and the explorers in particular contain a great bunch of people, writing great storys whilst being dedicated to help others on their way even if it takes the better part of an hour to answer to some threads
Congrats on your first "little" trip ;-)

Wonder why they call it "The Black" , since there is nothing there ,why is it black?:S
.
And hope being so far out in it ,you could ask the Fuel Rats to drop off some more toilet paper for you :D

I was thinking the same thing very recently. I've read tales of woe and wonder in this section of the forums. In just about every case the posts are filled with inspiration.

I don't post much but lurk lots and I'm quite new to the game (only explored once so far 25-30k light year round trip). I have to say thanks to the exploration forum community I had a fantastic trip for my first time in the black, and I can't wait for more :)
