Turns out the guy simply lied about his gameplay being from the PS5 version.

Well, at least we know the PC version can look significantly better than what is currectly shown by Youtubers like TheGamingBeaver and Evolution Square.

Hopefully the true "Next-Gen" versions will still see an improvement over this:

Next-Gen consoles version looks awful compared to PC

I wonder if this is because there's no actual Next-Gen version yet, and all we've seen from Consoles so far is simply the old-gen code running in backwards compatibility mode, because the difference is incredible and shouldn't be anywhere near this massive. PC: PS5:

And well, i'll be damned, Frontier indeed really fixed the "Next-Gen" versions!

For a massive difference like this in such a short amount of time Frontier absolutely deserve to be commended! Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition on PSN right away (just wish there was a physical Deluxe Edition) and can't wait to play the game now!

Both TheGamingBeaver and Evolution Square are playing the game on PC now. They have been for a while. I have heard the game looks pretty bad on the PS4 and Xbox one base consoles. Also it runs poorly as well.

I am sure the PC version will look fine. It depends on your hardware though.

Yes they have, but not at Max Settings. Their videos are actually below the Consoles versions:

It is the definitive version, if you can afford it. Even if only for Mods.

But i was always going to double dip so it's awesome to see how much they upgraded the Consoles version. That difference a few months ago didn't make any sense.

the first preview is base consoles.( i do not recommend this version at all) . Series s is 1080p 60fps/ series x 1620p -1800p( 4k if you look sky water whatever) Ps 5 same maybe 100p less.

Ps 4 pro assumed! 1440p 30fps / one x 1800p 30 fps.

If you can get at least a 300 bucks series s no limits, 60fps no heavy drops like all consoles with jaguar cpu. But hey uopgrade is free but chip shortage will last years. Even if not they will make it so. More profit
