I'm so extremely happy that Frontier didn't use the Vampiric abomination that was all the rage some time ago. I even remember seeing articles andYouTube videos suggesting it for "JP4", presenting this unholy nightmare.
My understanding has always been that he actually believes all of his crazy ideas because his lasers highlight things in fossils that only he can see but others can't. This probably sounds crazy, but it makes just slightly more sense in context. Apparently, a long ago, his lasers did highlight something in a fossil that wasn't immediately evident. Only problem is that Peters assumed that every time that he saw something highlighted by his lasers, it had to be part of the fossil and not just rock so he slowly became self-deluded and lost his mind after that...That's the guy who makes stuff up and then insists it's true, isn't he? That actually found its way into a book called "The World Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs" along with the WWD claim Liopleurodon was a 25m long behemoth... pretty pictures though...
David Peters had no involvement about the Liopleurodon’s size. It was actually based on what consultants for that show provided when it was still reasonable at the time from an actual fossil that’s yet to be given a formal taxon name.along with the WWD claim Liopleurodon was a 25m long behemoth... pretty pictures though...
I can't believe they mistook Liopleurodon for the Monster of Aramberri.the WWD claim Liopleurodon was a 25m long behemoth... pretty pictures though...
Yes I know, was just pointing out a book full of errors featured both the vampire Jeholopterus and the WWD Liopleurodon.David Peters had no involvement about the Liopleurodon’s size. It was actually based on what consultants for that show provided when it was still reasonable at the time from an actual fossil that’s yet to be given a formal taxon name.
