Thank you, Frontier!

I'm not a big gamer. What attracted me to Elite Dangerous is that Frontier has made a serious attempt to simulate a Milky Way galaxy based on real astronomy. It really resonates with my life-long love of the stars and the many hours I've spent stargazing.

Today, as I was exiting a station, I noticed the glowing edge of the earth-like planet in the foreground. I stopped my ship to watch the sunrise and was just totally blown away at the beauty of the simulation. And then I don't know if it was by chance or triggered by the event but the most beautiful and moving music played softly in the background. For a few moments, I could truly believe I was there. Well done, Frontier!

Check out Space Engine if you haven't aleady.

But it's very satisfiying in visiting the stars and Constilation I've know since childhood in my own spaceship. Even a a virtual one.

Also all know exoplanets should be in the game as well, it's quite fun visting them as well.

Elite really is beautiful sometimes...it's the only game I've ever played in my life (and I've played a bunch) where every once in awhile I have to stop what I'm doing and take a screenshot just because something looks so cool. R+ for you OP
