first I'd say thank you to FDEV. ED is a great game. Is it done? Of course not, can it be improved? Of course it can. So how can it be improved? Well, bug fixing and general quality improvements are an ongoing task in my world.
What next? Again one need to choose, do it right and then move on to the next task. So what need to be addressed? This is just my opinion. To me the universe still need to feel more alive, the problem is how can this be done? Radio communication with stations and others ships would help. More activity around the station like repair teams, activity in the rings like transport vessels or even NPC's moving around inside.
We need more video feed in the communication. You could receive a mission via the comms and see the mission briefing via the comms.
In general voice could be done via a text to voice generator just to keep the cost down. However it would give a better feeling of being alive.
Also, please make a small variation of the ship cockpits, it's a bit dull and difficult to accept that all ships use the same joystick setup in all ships. Give it some variation.
What more? Well I'm don't really feel I'm in danger, so juice up the npc skills
They are a bit to easy to kill. I don't do much combat, I mostly just tool around, however when I get pulled out of super cruise it more like , ahh just an NPC are there no players around?
There are so many things you could do, so I'll just stop here and hope that the game just will get better and better during the next months.
