Kudos "Old Duck", I couldn't agree more. I was so afraid that The PS4 community would be stuck with "No Man's Sky ". Not to say anything bad about that title, but let's face it...it's not E.D.

yeah, I agree with this. I nearly fell for NMS as I wanted a ED experience on the ps4 but waited for the reviews. it was the lack of depth and variety that was mentioned made me not bother. I had no interest on a poor mans elite. plus the art style, although nice, was not what I expect from a space sim. ED on the other hand is so large in scope/depth and has the right look/feel

like i have said else where in the forum, my problem with "poor man's elite" is that it was either so easy a penguin could play it or so hard you couldn't even get off first planet. plus the fact me personally got the platinum within a week of playing, yet didn't have any sense of achievement for that platinum trophy.

and don't even get me started on lack of secrets to find and explore :(

P.S. free the snickers, and unleash the skittles

According to lore, what little is know about the Colony 7 mission to Mars, it was discovered in ancient writings, which translated to:

"...The bar was marketed under the name "Marathon" in the UK and Ireland until July 19, 1990, when Mars decided to align the UK product with the global Snickers name ..."

To this day, the full extent of the Colony 7 mission remains a mystery... At least how it was passed on to me..

That conspiracy was debunked in the documentary "Capricorn One" to confuse the true believers.

A bucket list task is to travel to the Sol system and land on the fourth rock from their sun to find the answers.

Search...... I share with you an unspoken secret:

“…Behind my beloved waterfall, in the little room that was hidden beneath the cave, I found it. I brushed away the dust of the years, and picked it up, holding it reverently in my hands. I had no idea what it might be, but it was beautiful…” -- Unknown, most likely a 7th Colonist.

The first Snickers.... What a joy it must have been.
