Thank you Frontier!

In one of the last updates Frontier seems to have decided to turn off this horrible lateral translation movement (headsway) that we had in the Oculus Rift when accelerating/decelerating. Thank the gods this is gone. I can
finally, comfortably play Elite in the Rift again!. Well at least for the most part. The in-game head still seems to react to rotation, which makes no sense.

I reaaaally hope this wasn't a bug and is here to stay, because the head sway in the rift was just terrible. But please remove the rotational sway as well. It makes no logical sense why this is there.

It never made me sick, but I did find myself having to back up or lean in as the HUD would move during decel / accel. If I was supercruising to a destination, I wound up resetting head tracking way back so I could see comms and alerts. Then I'd have to reset again as I slowed because the screen would rush up to me.

On the monitor with TrackIR this wasn't an issue. But the moment I stepped into the Rift I had problems with the HUD moving due to speed.

Eitherway, I am glad it is gone :)

OMG Thank god!!! that was driving me nuts!!!!

A new thing I've noticed since 2.07 is when I'm in the station menu and I turn my head slightly left or right, the menu will shift over just a little bit in the direction I'm turning. It's very slight, but annoying, when you're trying to look over to the left or right to get details of the station menu and you find that you have to turn just a little more because the menu shifted. I've counted 5 positions; center, slightly left & right, another notch left & right.

Has anyone else noticed this?
