On Sunday night my right headphone on my rift packed up (purchased June 2017)

A quick email to Oculus support and by Thursday lunchtime a new set of headphones had arrived. Connected up and working brilliantly. All free of charge

Not a bad service in this day and age.

Yes they are very good. I am in my their rift. Last one was sent back Monday and I had new by firday week before Christmas
 
Just having to have replaced for the second time with failing headphones. Think I will just use cordless Bluetooth headset on my next one. They are quite good customer service though.
 
Mine was 3 months out of its 2 year warranty when the right headphone packed in. Apparently it's a known issue with the ribbon cable inside the adjustable headband breaking from wear and tear.
I emailed Oculus and they took it back and shipped me a refurbished one free of charge even though it was out of warrantly. Excellent customer service.

And for those who have this issue and can't get Oculus to fix it out of warranty, Palmer Luckey just released a repair kit that he's offering free to anyone in that situation. They just have to provide him with a ticket number. Really cool of him to do that!
