I don't know about you ... but after maybe half a day of being back in inhabited space I start planning my next trip to the black. I can see this becoming a regular cycle... a couple of weeks in the black, a couple of days back for some R&R then back to the black. I'd actually like to have a second save so I can have one explorer and one fighter and not have to traipse back & forth all the time.
Another 1500ly to home and after the bathroom break, a hamburger, and a shower, that's exactly what I'm going to do!!! Hoping to get some pew pew on this evening (provided the shiny objects don't slow me down that last 1500ly).
Well, we do forget about the chat screen. My chat screen popped up a week ago, and I about wet my pants, as I was far out in the black, and I thought someone was in the sector and ready to send me home Sag A*-style. Then I realized I was in Solo. It took me a couple of minutes to remember how to chat back.

But yes, this sub-forum is a nice break from the griping in the main forums. Even when you post the most boring system, such as this.... somebody's gonna appreciate it

Actually...I've never left a station with a ship outfitted with weapons. They're the first things to go when I buy a ship, never to be seen again. The weapons, that is. Presumably I'll return to inhabited space again...eventually.
