I find it outrageous that we have a means to get the double engineered C5 FSD even if we didnt take part in the CGs, but we dont for the others.
Why was this decided? Is there any real valid reason you are intenionally disadvantaging people that didnt take part, were on break due to burnout (here) or god forbid werent even around at the time because they only just got into the game?
I demand a real and valid answer from Frontier on this. And no "this is a reward only" type of deal. You clearly didnt care for the C5 so:

Demanding always works well. Also, the C3 and C4 CG-FSDs are overrated, their advantage over the normal engineered ones is minimal. The only one one might want to argue about is the C6, because it makes a paper Conda's jump range even more ridiculous. In a real-world ship like a battle Corvette it makes minimal difference. Not worth rioting about it (or even get enraged).

I am not here to make argue if it makes sense in your particular use-case. Im here to argue that having something in the game that is unobtainable because you could not be in the right place at the right time is simply just anti-playerbase. Im not even talking about broken stuff. You have a C5 option available but if you want the bigger one that exists in game, being used by people, your ish out of luck because we said so? Sorry but i can not accept this.

tough luck. I would really like to have the double engineered fast long range KWS because I missed the CG. But I'm not having a fit over it, and that is orders of magnitude more useful compared to the normal ones than the pre-engineered FSDs.

There will always be special CG rewards that otherwise will be unobtainable. Shiny exclusive toys is one of the ways to motivate the player base to participate (and this community responds VERY well to shiny toy bribes). Otherwise the majority will just sit it out until you can buy them.

Get used to it.

Why would you want one? As someone who owns one, did it suddenly get buffed to become useful over the MK III and I missed it? :)

Accept it or not son, your rage thread isn't going to make any difference. I missed out on half the CGs for the best part of a year because I was on the other side of the galaxy, that's the way the cookie crumbles. Perhaps they will make them available again at some point in the future, if not you'll have to make your peace with this life-changing event.

There are plenty of reasons.
For example it can be the best ground attack small ship, perfect as an Odyssey mission runner.
Most internals from all small and medium ships - which means a lot of versatility
And if not, for the simple fact that i cannot get it?

This is exacctly the thing im talking about. People that only just started out are missing out big time and to know that there a re people with a distinct advantage over you is just maddening in this live service hell hole this has become.
And just as a side note, i would gift you one even for nothing in return if it was possible.

You know, you lot are part of the problem because you let this be the norm.
They are reliant on us to play their game. Without us they would be out of buisness before the kickstarter even went through.
But all of you are too busy licking Braben's boot to even see the things going on in this game.
