So you might remember that I was feeling a bit "burned out" on missions, due to a failure of follow-on missions & challenging surface scan mission spawns.
Well, I took one piece of good advice from that thread, & tonight decided to head out to Hermitage, to see if I could locate that INRA base everyone was talking about. After trying to find it blind for about an hour (yeah, right
), I decided to "cheat" & find out more details about where it was located.
Even with that info, it took a lot of driving, through some *very* difficult terrain, to actually find the old base. Still, it was a huge amount of fun looking for it-much more fun than days of trying to get follow-on missions to spawn. I also got to find another truly dark planet to drive around too......so that was an added bonus!
