Regardles of whatever i have said, or will say, about Elite and Fdevs choices about it, I also want to say this:
Thank you for the Keelback, Fdev! Whoever designed it, both its function and its form, did a fantastic job. It has become one of my favorite ships in sci-fi, and as someone that role-play heavily in games like this, the Keelback has let me do that in ways no other ship has. It has kept me entertained for years, and is quite frankly the main reason why I keep playing.
And while I won't claim there aren't a couple of things I wouldn't like to tweak on the Keelback, I will claim that it's flawed in the most flawless way possible.
While I'm at it, small shout-out for the Eagle MkII here at the end. The most fun combat ship in the game. Absolut perfection; no notes.
