Thanks Frontier

Ups and downs throughout the years, but no other game captivated me for around 5000 hours. No other game was good enough for me to buy it 4 times (damn you for no multiple Cmdr slots!). No other game provided me with such a realistic "being there" feeling in VR. And no other game allowed me to adventure in so realistically depicted Milky Way.

I mean, there are surely other games and programs that are better than Elite at this or that, but there are no other games that do everything that Elite does in this way.

Amazing piece of software engineering. Looking forward to what the future holds!
Yeah, it's up there for me. Say what you will, but the only other game I've spent as much time in over the years is Minecraft, but then I host a few servers for it for family and friends. Anything else would be a distant third. Maybe the NES Dragon Warrior series as a kid or something. 🤷‍♂️

I must have clocked up over 10,000 hours in a life time playing Frontier games. I've got over 3,000 now in Elite Dangerous got knows how much I played Elite II and First Encounters during 90s then in the noughties with mods. I kind of accepted a while back Elite won't ever be perfect but its still mind blowing and an amazing game. I just think David Braben never really knew the technical difficulties the dev team have had and probably expected development to be so much quicker. We're only just starting to get some of the fantastic features he sold us in the Kickstarter. Firmly believe this game still has year in it despite the doom sayers.

Oh yeah and lets not forget there's Planet Coaster too!

I to have been playing since beta 2014 this game has taken me off my other love I had at the time MS flight sim, the wife thinks I’m mad playing this game as I’m on it almost every day but the kids have learnt a lot about space and even tell their friends and teachers about space so I have to say thanks Frontier for the continued fun and educational aspects of this game.
