Thargoid Activity

So, I spotted a few things when I first started traveling out towards the Maia system: First, the surface structures in some of the systems I cannot seem to find at all. I'm trying to get in on the action within the community and the lore of the game, but I can never seem to keep up with it. Are those structures still around?

Also, does anyone know what the Thargoids want with the damaged escape pods? I witnessed one just suck one right up from a destoryed Andaconda that was in deep space.

Lastly, does anyone know what's on the other end of those wake fields they make when they jump out?

Yes, the Thargoid surface structures are still in the game. See the Canonn threadnaughts for a list or instructions if you want to find them yourself.

Nobody knows what the Thargoids do with escape pods... yet. I think that part of the story is not yet revealed.

I tried to follow Thargoids when they jumped. I was maybe 100m behind them a few times. But my ship was violently pushed aside by the Thargoid wake. Ended up going backwards at full speed. Up close the visual effects of the Thargoid jump are spectacular though.

Yeah, that jump wake I have to agree with that, but it's still got me highly curious just where they go. I mean, has anyone done a scan of the jump wake at all? All the target details show just read 'Scan needed. I'm seriously curious about it, but I'm too ' scared to check it out! (I play the game almost only in VR, and those ships scare the living crap out of me in VR!)
