I've been jumping into non human signals over the last few days near Maia and have discovered their intentions, maybe.
They're looking for certain pilots/ faction members, jump in on a threat lvl 4 signal to find a wanted cmdr soon after thargiod interceptors jump in and attack it.
Threat lvl 5 is a cyclops scanning destroyed ships and collecting escape pods, occupied and damaged. If you allow it to scan you then back off they don't attack.
Threat lvl 8 is the same as 5 but a Basilisk not a cyclops. Scan, back off and stay safe.
So in conclusion, they could have killed me many times over and have not so why attack only certain cmdrs? How do they know which cmdrs to get and where?
It doesn't add up if its an invasion.
