This type of stuff gives me extra motivation to venture out on my 1st super long range Exploration journey into deep space, because maybe just maybe there's more out there other than just returning with credits-turn-ins and....nothing.
not to diminish this find, but wasn't there already some kind of confirmation after Thargoid sensors were found in every sector of the galaxy? Of course a crash site is a bit more definitive

In my naivety I assumed it was intentional...
Because it was introduced at the same time as other Odyssey poi appearing all over other galaxy, something which occurred for Horizons and was promptly removed.
EDIT: Oh, I just watched the video, it's just the usual Odyssey NHSS, but one found in the void.
Isn't this just another sensor and its fragments as found all through the galaxy? (Ich nicht sprechen Deutsch.)
Ah yes, ye olde FD game of is it a bug or feature.
i found one more crashsite on the first moon of the Gas Giant in the same system.
