Thargoid Encounters

Hi Folks, new to the Forum, not new to the game. Still play SOLO (its my kind of game)
Last week I stumbled on my first Thargoid, didnt know what was going on at the time, Got the hell outta the system quick. Today I was curious and went back to the system, and encountered two in a couple of systems before reaching my destination. Don't have the knowhow (yet) of how to and what to do. Should I be reporting Thargoid encounters anywhere? I googled the systme, and used Galnet, but I have found nothing about current activites at all, let alone the system I'm in.

I'm guessing what you encountered were Thargoid "hyperdictions" (where they pull you out of the hyperspace jump tunnel, aka "witchspace", and then scan you). It's a really cool encounter which tends to happen around the Pleiades but no need to report, just enjoy. There's still lots more to see! 😁

Dealing with Thargoids requires special build ships.There are decals one can purchase for loving or hating them but they don't seen to care.

Alec, thats exactly it. I scanned next systems, into Electra, and found nonhuman stuff. Ima try my hand at scout bashing now, just gotta wait for my Krait to arrive ...

Hooplah, Im using a krait fit I found on YT from D2E Astronomy

Ill keep that fit in mind. I seem to have similar to all the fits Ive seen until now. Im still on Competent, so I do not as yet have Hull Reinforcement Engineer (one of the reasons I ended up looking for (and by chance finding) thargoids)
