Thargoid&Guardian map filter question

Hello commanders,
quick question. Im a fairly new commnder and I plan to do my first out of the bubble trip - first to Pleiades to see already discovered guardian and thargoid sites. My question is: since they added civilization filters for said alien sites will I be able to see them on the map without being there before? Or will I have to discover them using the wiki? Maybe fellow commanders can direct me to the best possible way to do this? Where to start? Where to go?

It depends.

I have only visited 1 Guardian site and when I filter on that all I can see is the one site I visited.

However, there are a large number of Thargoid sites around Pleiades that I dont remember visiting (I think only 1 or 2 I have gone to) but these show up on the map.

The good news is that now when you are in a system guardian or thargoid sites show up as selectable destinations when you are within 1000Ls of them.
