Thargoid homeworld location?

So i have a question for Fdev. Speculation is that the thargoid homeworld is on the other side of galaxy. Lets say that an explorer was jumping around (you know, exploring) and he just so happened to stumble upon the thargoid homeworld (got hyperdicted going to system, goid activity extremely increased) is the goid homeworld set in game but no one has. Been to the system like raxxla or is it not anywhere until story calls for its addition.

FDev is highly unlikely to answer this question, given its connection to deep lore that hasn't been released yet.

There are entire regions of space that are permit- locked, some of which are on the far side of the galaxy. It's possible their homeworld is in one of those.

It's also speculated that the Thargoids could be a nomad species that abandoned their homeworld long ago. It's also possible they could be from another galaxy altogether (which could overlap with the nomad theory).

Another theory is that their homeworld is in Witch Space, completely inaccessible from our dimension until FSD technology is upgraded further.

Several Thargoid probes had signals pointing to a star system in the COL 70 Sector, and all of that sector is permit locked. Lots of us (myself included) believe that may be their home world but we can't investigate that guess for sure until that sector is unlocked.

Fdev knows every fleet carrier in the game will show up there and nuke that planet from orbit. Imagine if the finale to the thargoid war story was a final battle. We go there and there is like 20 farragut cruisers, 20 imperial capital ships working together along with dozens of AX NPCs and commanders against thargoid forces in the biggest single battle ever. With large scale fighting on the surface of planets also. And the final moment would be the destriction of the thargoid homeworld and the thargoid's retreat from human space. For good.

You say all this like it's a bad thing. :D

Actually, I'm wondering if they'll make it so you have to earn each permit for each COL 70 star system one at a time to make you CRAWL there, one commander at a time (and block all fleet carriers)?

No. I wanna destroy the goids as much as anyone. They are a threat that must be shown that it messed with the wrong species.
