I was in there with you Henkka77 - I got some close ups, its a pain not being able to move. But if you go solo move close then go back into group it works, I just got real close :)

How far out did the power outage happen? Looked like maybe 1.5-2km to me, but it's hard to judge distance. Which means you may not even need long range weapon mods to engage it outside of its "EMP" bubble.

Not far, maybe 1km-1.5km. Too bad in my panic i didnt target the ship to see the distance.. :D

Cool! I entered the instance when the ship was already in the position, so it might be one reason it glitched. I didnt see that other Anaconda and DBX either.. :D

Yesterday, watching Bl1p's live stream, a number of points emerged from it:

Commanders couldn't target it;
Power was lost about 1.5 km from it;
Firing at it looked good but did nothing;
It could be pushed by a ship (Anaconda) that bounced beneath it and up into its underside;
If pushed away, it used thrusters to bring itself above the barnacle again;
It exhibited no hostility;
It is beautifully crafted by FD ;)

others can probably contribute more on this.

Shot the one yesterday at Pleiades Sector OI-T c3-7 A6 that was stuck/bugged with all I had on my Python. (non-engineered weapons)

The result was kind of disappointing. Lasers/MC just don't do anything to it.

It doesn't even seem to have an shield up.

PS: However I got a message in Thargoid afterwards:
"You attacked us! This means war!! Your race is doomed!"
